At audioDave, we design home automation systems that are customized to you. That means we come to the table without preconceived notions about how your
house should work. The first step in the process of working with us is for our team to get to know you. Our team will meet with your family and other
relevant players (architects, interior designers, general contractors, etc) to evaluate the layout of your home and discuss your family-members’ habits
and traffic patterns. We want to know how you move through your home and use your space so that we can customize an automation design that will work
as a natural extension of your existing behaviors. We make your house work with you, according to your needs.
Once we have met with you and discussed your needs and wants from your home automation system, we will create a detailed, custom site report reflecting everything we learned from you in our meeting. It will reflect your home layout, your family’s habits and how they use the home, and what rooms and areas we intend to focus on designing a system around. We will provide this report to you for review and feedback, and you can let us know if there is anything you would like us to add.
Once we are on the same page regarding what you would like your home to do for you and how we can work to make your home react automatically to your established habits, we can go about the process of designing a customized system for you. We will consider all available options for technology and controls and design a system that will be easy-to-use and that will address all of your needs. We will work with your designers, contractors and architect as needed to ensure that our system will fit and function just right within the confines of your home’s design.
The first step before we can start adding the Building Elements to your project involves Integration - creating the infrastructure from which you can connect, and eventually control, all of your devices. Specifically, we begin by creating a network for all of your current and future devices to communicate with each other. We then proceed to install the specific types of controls that allow you to dictate what, when, and where your system operates. Once this foundation is setup, we're ready to add your specific building elements - be it a Home Theatre, Conference Room, an entire Smart Home, or all of the above.
Once the Foundational and Building Elements have been integrated, the audioDave team will then Automate your systems based on your habits and preferences.
The goal of this phase of the project is to program the systems in a way so your environment conforms to you without the need for you to do anything.
Have your Home, Office, or Unique environments automatically conform to you without even having to press a button.
A home automation system is worthless if you don’t know how to use it. When audioDave designs you a system, we will not only set it up and test it in your home for you, but we will take the time required to train you to use all of your new technology. This is typically an easy process, since we will have designed the system according to the tools, habits and devices you already have. Regardless of your control system, we will take the time to make sure you are comfortable using it. We will also help you troubleshoot any issues as needed and can assist with repairs when necessary. At audioDave we pride ourselves on our satisfied customers.
